Executive Bios
Steve Roberts / President & CEO
Mr. Roberts brings over a decade of versatile experience in the high tech, advertising and enterprise application industries, most notably in startup development of venture funded projects and program management, business process optimization, e-commerce, sales, and business development. He has a global perspective on business management, through which he has developed unique competencies and integrated expertise in sales, channel management and strategic planning.

Mr. Roberts has held VP, Director and Senior Management roles for technology corporations from startup to acquisition. He has brought three VC-backed companies to profitability and one company to successful acquisition. Steve has held leadership positions as SVP of Levelvision—a digital out-of-home, Virginia based company. Mr. Roberts is regarded as an expert in technologies from cutting edge Web applications, digital and semiconductor technology, including global media strategy initiatives. Mr. Roberts did his undergraduate work at Northeastern University. He is also an accomplished nationally-competitive athlete.
Garrett Van Wagoner / Chairman
Garrett Van Wagoner started his career in 1978 at First American Bank in Washington, D.C. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Van Wagoner has been involved in equity research and portfolio management for several investment organizations. Prior to starting his own firm in 1996, Mr. Van Wagoner was the portfolio manager for the Govett Smaller Companies Fund. According to Lipper Analytics, this fund was the number one rated small cap growth fund for all three years Mr. Van Wagoner managed the fund. After starting his own business, Van Wagoner Capital, Mr. Van Wagoner specialized in the emerging growth space of technology and health care. His firm invested in both early stage public and private investments and was responsible for investing in numerous private companies that made the highly successful leap to becoming public.
Nikos Acuna / Vice-President of Marketing
Nikos has over ten years of experience in multimedia advertising, sales, PR, and business development, having worked on both the media and agency sides of the business across multiple media vehicles and digital platforms. Nikos worked for ABS-CBN International, one of the largest global media companies in Asia, as head of sales, an integrated marketing specialist, and account executive for ABS-CBN’s North American Division.

Nikos then worked for Intagio Media Services, a strategic media planning and placement agency, where he worked as Account Director with clients such as Yahoo!, CNET, the San Francisco Examiner, and MIT’s prestigious publication, Technology Review. Nikos was also VP Advertising, Programming, and Acquisitions for the Professional Broadcast Network—a digital media communications provider in the health care industry. Nikos received his B.A. Communication from the University of the Pacific, his Masters in Writing from the University of San Francisco, and is a Ph.D Psychology candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Shari Robinson Weissner, Sr. Director - Client Services
Shari has close to 20 years of experience in retail marketing comprised of 13 years in brick & mortar, online and the distributor sides of retail. Shari worked for Macy’s West, Birkenstock Footwear and macys.com (Federated Department Stores) in multiple capacities including event production, promotions, partnership marketing, business development, training, and ultimately the launch of Federated’s strategic partnership with weddingchannel.com.

After a year of independent event & promotion work, Shari joined the team at Premier Retail Networks (PRN), where she spent 7 years in Advertiser & Account Services working with key partners such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, P&G, Ocean Spray, Fruit of the Loom and Nintendo.

As Sr. Director of Advertiser & Account Services she focused on account management and digital media operations … in general, keeping network partners, advertiser partners and the sales team content.

Shari received her BA in Communications from Ithaca College.
